We are Silvia and Peter Wallrabe

When we first came to Sámos in 2009, it was love at first sight. The simplicity of the life and the beauty of the island encouraged us to return every year. In the meantime, Sámos has become our second home.
It gives us pleasure to introduce this wonderful island to other people and to share our fascination for its beauties with our guests. This is how the idea of the holiday homes came into being. We will be more than happy to give tips for swimming, hiking and island exploration.

After the renovation of Levánda in 2014, we also acquired a neighboring olive grove in Vourliótes in 2017. Here we have since built our new residence and a bungalow for guests – in modern architecture and harmoniously integrated into the old cultural landscape.

Also in the olive grove is an old Kalívi, Silvia’s studio. She is a freelance artist in the field of sculpture, drawing and photography. Her abstract art explores original forms and structures of nature and architecture.

Olives project

We would like to maintain our olive grove with 200 trees and preserve it as an original cultural landscape. Our goal is to produce organic olive oil of the highest quality and taste. We are happy to show our guests the harvest of olives and the care of the olive trees, the oldest cultivated plant in the world.
