Sámos – nature, experience, the way of life

Sámos is one of the green Greek islands with large forests and rushing streams in the spring. The mountains, some of which tower steeply out of the sea, are sublime and lovely at the same time. Often the view goes far over the dark blue Aegean Sea over to the coast of Asia Minor where many of the most famous sites of ancient Greece are located.

On Sámos, culture, swimming, hiking and other sporting activities can be ideally combined. A wonderful day finishes off with an evening in the tavern with Sámos food and a dry Muscat wine. And the music played there shows that Sámos is really on the edge of Europe, almost Middle Eastern.
